So week 1 is done and dusted - not without some help from the little bits and our 4 legged friend.
I gave in to the hype and bought myself a fitbit... second hand I will add, as my hard earned cash isn't for that disgustingly hideous "exercise" malarkey - but its really quite interesting to learn how many steps you really do in a day!
Not to mention the competition against friends...... and even if I hated it and never used it for its true purpose, its blinking wonderful to have a watch again!! :)
I like that it reminds you to move as well, and the silent morning alarm is really good!
I went to two exercise classes (my third one was cancelled - get well soon Fi!) Boogie Bounce on Monday - love love love it, who doesnt love mini trampolines and you dont feel like you are exercising, just laughing yourself daft, and back to Pound on Wednesday - love this one again getting to drum out your frustration :)
We hired the private pool for today - it means I dont have to shave my legs, trim any other areas, or worry how flabby I look in a swimming costume. Bonus! And the kids are really improving their swimming.
And I completed week 1 of the NHS One You Couch to 5k podcast - even coming home from work shattered and heading out for a run with little bit, and even middle bit has started coming with us on run 2 and 3. Four legged bit is always up for a walk or run, although hes snoring on the sofa next to me as I type. .
So what does week 2 hold - boogie bounce tomorrow, Pound isn't on this week, so going to go to aqua fit and try that instead, and Clubbercise on Friday. 3 runs for Week 2, and its the school holidays, so will try to fit some extra bits in. Swimming pool is booked again next Sunday... weigh in on Thursday. Fingers crossed!!
See you on the other side!
